Geocache Description:

This is a traditional cache near the mountain Parnassos at Sterea Ellada.

Located very near the road that connects Levadeia and Lamia but is not the
national road.This road is more traditional and you travel in slower speed
so that you can enjoy the fantastic greek scenery.When you are approaching
mountain Parnassos, as you head to Lamia, at your left side there is a
village
called Parorio.Soon after the sign for Parorio, at your left hand there is
a hill with a church on the top of it.You can leave your precious low car
at the road near the coordinates N38 34.575 E22 45.404 and then climd the hill, or if you own a nervous small
dynamic car
or a four wheel drive car you can drive the gravel and rocky road that
leads up
to the small church.
But do not say I didn't warn you, this road is very rough.
After you reach the lonely church, start looking around for the cache !

The cache is a plastic container with a log book, a pen, a pencil, a
geocaching
declaration in greek and in english and some items for trade.
After logging your find, please close well the tupper and hide it exactly
as you found it.
Enjoy the mountain above your head at your west...mountain Parnassos had
still
snow the day I placed this cache (late April).The view upwards is
breathtaking.
You can also stand on the hill and just stare at the trains that pass near
this spot.It is the main railroad line of Athens-Thessaloniki.
