Mattone Rosso Traditional Cache
digndirt: I finally remembered to take a look at the cache to verify it's existance today and I'm sorry to report that it is MIA! Apparently when the boardwalk was refurbished the container was discovered and someone made off with it. It had a good long run but I'm not going to replace it. I do hope that someone hides a cache in that area because it is a nice relaxing place to visit.

The container is a medium sized Lock-N-Lock with camo on it. All but the last 10 feet are wheelchair accessible. Keep an eye out for snakes, wasps and spiders when retrieving the cache. Use the nearby picnic table for doing the administrative chores.
The cache is located at the Riverwalk at the Conway Marina. There are benches, swings and some picnic tables. A childrens play area is at one end of the marina. A store is also on the property if you want somethng to eat or drink. On the weekends, it's not unusual to see weddings taking place here. Please DO NOT attempt retrieval if a wedding is taking place. Also, be careful not to step on the plantings in the area. There's plenty of room to walk around the plants.
