going south on I17 exit @ N 34.01.090 W 112.08.902 take road to gate and park.4 wheel not necessary but high clearance recommended.Short but challenging hike from gate.Going north on I17 take Table Mesa exit to county rd.go north to water tank and turn right.Follow g.p.s. you will arrive at same gate as south route.Start your hike here.
cache is a durable,plastic container with camo paint.Contains log,pen and some sea shells.Watch for a game trail going up the mountain.It will make the climb easier.Lots of quartz but not much cactus.
