Geocache Description:

Not much is left of the old Skålmyra farm. Only ruins and debris spread around
the area. The houses are burnt down some years ago. The farm is nowadays deserted
by living people and very few come here. Maybe it is so because of the long way
to walk through the forrest. Or maybe people avoid the ruins because of the
creeping feeling of something beeing wrong there. The old farm seemes to be
cursed. Its history is darkened by a series of suicides. First Alfrid shot himself
without a single word telling why. Some time after, Alfrids son Sven, took his
own life by eating poison. He also killed his dog. Anna, Alfrids whife and Svens
mother had enough and moved along with her two last children to another farm
outside Borlänge. But the Skålmyra curse was powerful and forced both daughters
to take their lifes. Märta drowned herself together with her boyfriend. Svea later
became sick and also comitted suicide.

There are more stories about Skålmyra. Most of them tell about the ghosts and shadow
people that have been spotted around the farm. Or about the fear people tend to feel
when visiting the area. Psychic people brought here say this is a severely haunted
place on earth...
