Purgatory Brook Multi-Cache

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Purgatory Brook to find out about the status of this cache on October 15, 2008. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Geocache Description:

This multi-cache is accessible from both the well-known main entrance of Purgatory Chasm State Park on Purgatory Road and the lesser known entrance on the backside of the park, on Mendon Road. The trails are distinct and should bring you almost right up to both stages of the cache. The terrain level is due to some rocky areas that could be difficult for small children (the rockiest being through the chasm). Notice there is no after dark parking.

The first stage of this multi is the usual micro sized, 35mm film canister with cordinates to the second and final cache. The final, which is a clear Lock n Lock container, is hidden in my new favorite place in town. After finding the second stage, I urge everyone to take the time to explore the area, espeacially the pool of water down stream from the cache. I hope you all enjoy the site as much I do.
