You are looking for a ammo box.

NOTE: Replaced with ammo box 25-Aug-09. Its on the ridge, so you might want to leave the trail before it gets steep, or after the trail turns.

Placed this one on the way back from "You Go Your Way, I'll Go Mine " GCVQ6V. It took about 15minutes from parking to make it up this far. Lots of wildlife, trees and flowers to see thus the name.

This is on the AT not far from Allen Gap. Parking and trailhead waypoints are listed.
