Geocache Description:

This mighty maple caught our eye as he pearched above us while guarding the entrance to this wilderness trail.

This is a quick cache stop just a short distance from this gamelands parking lot. You can stop just for this or use it as a warm up before continuing down the trail for more caching experiences around the bend. This is a state game land area, so please observe all SGL regulations including the wearing of blaze orange during hunting seasons.
