Geocache Description:

This is Cache #2 of a new series called SIBLING RIVALRY! It is a stand-alone cache but don't forget to get the code word from the log book so that you can find the final.

The above coords are for the parking location.

Having 5 siblings can be fun, especially when the oldest and youngest are seperated by 24 years! Since caching is a family tradition, we wanted to place a series of caches with a "sibling" theme. All caches can be done on their own and in any order.Other caches in this series are...

(GCVQTE).....Sibling Rivalry Series: Cache 1 - Family Trails
(GCVQWC).....Sibling Rivalry Series: Cache 3 - Family Feast
(GCVZM7).....Sibling Rivalry Series: Cache 4 - Family In-Law
(GCVZND).....Sibling Rivalry Series: Cache 5 - Family Playground

Cache #2 - Family Plots

The above coords are for the best place to park. You must find some of the residents and record some information about them in order to find the coords for the final.

This cache is in a nice cemetery on the outskirts of Orangeville off Veteran's Way. From the parking area you will need to find the marker stones of 5 of the residents who have included the names of their children on their stones. Since the theme of this series is siblings, you must record the number of children each family had and plug the numbers into the following simple equation to find the final.

Ritchie
Lloyd and Fern had how many children? (A)

Meikle
John and Ellen had how many children? (B)

Austin
Clara and Edward had how many children? (C)

Birch
Fredrick and Marion had how many children? (D)

Baird
Joan and Orville had how many children? (E)

To find the cache...

North Coords - Add ABC to 43 54.588

West Coords - Subtract CDE from 80 08.734

Don't forget the code word in the log book!

Each cache in this series has a code word in the log book that will help you decipher the clue to find the final cache.

The cache is in a regular plastic container with a grey lid. It's final resting place is in a really interesting area. We were surprised by what we found when we got there and thought that more people should be brought there to see it.

Enjoy the Series!
