This cache is located in the West Hill Dam / West Hill Park
recreation area in Uxbridge, MA. The cache is about equidistant
from either parking lot. The cache container is a Lock N' Lock type
tupperware. The terrain is fairly flat and kid friendly.
I hid my first cache here
It's About Dam Time over a year ago. I've always wanted to
explore the rest of the 4.8 mile trail system around this beautiful
area. There are several other caches in this park, so make sure to
visit them all. Hunting is allowed, so make sure you wear your
blaze orange during hunting season
There are well marked trails that will take you on a nice wooden
tour of the area between the dam and the rest of the park. I hope
you enjoy the walk. There is some tree cover that may cause some
accuracy issues when approaching the cache area, so please consult
the hint if you're having troubles.
That can be alot of hikers around at times, but the location should
give you some cover to hide while trading and signing the log.
Please rehide well so to prevent muggling.
