This cache is located in the West Hill Dam / West Hill Park
recreation area in Uxbridge, MA. The cache is about equidistant
from either parking lot. The cache container is a Lock N' Lock type
tupperware. The terrain is fairly flat and kid friendly.
I hid my first cache here
It's About Dam Time over a year ago. I've always wanted to
explore the rest of the 4.8 mile trail system around this beautiful
area. There are several other caches in this park, so make sure to
visit them all. Hunting is allowed, so make sure you wear your
blaze orange during hunting season
This cache brings you to another type of area of this beautiful
park. It rests near a nice view of the dam from below as well as a
gorgeous pond. It also abuts a nice field/meadow that they are
currently designing for ideal habitat for birds (swallows) and
other wildlife. It is a magical little Grotto of fallen trees set
down from the fields. I hope you enjoy.
That can be alot of hikers and/or fishermen around at times, but
the location should give you some cover to hide while trading and
signing the log.
