My favourite spot in Acton. This area is called the sand dunes. Hope you enjoy it. Please respect the Elephant grass.
Closest parking is at 43 37.668 N, 080 02 982 W, at end of Elmore Drive. Please enjoy the trail through the elephant grass field, but please don't bushwack through it. All the sand in the area and the sand hill in particular, is a reminder of when Fairy Lake was dredged in about 1970. As you reach for the cache, try not to think about what a perfect spot this would be for alligators. ;-)
