Geocache Description:

This easy mystery cache is dedicated to Estonian Liberation War heroes who stopped Red Army offensive designed to conquer Estonia.

In January 1919 the Red Army had conquered two-thirds of Estonia. The Estonian national forces, having started their counteroffensive only 34 kilometres from Tallinn, capital of Estonia, pushed the enemy out of the country by February the same year.

As you stop your car you will see a memorial stone by the side of the road. The memorial was opened in 1990. If you look around a bit, you'll find the parts of another, demolished monument. Actually, even this one wasn't the original - supporters of the Soviet ideology blew up the monument first in 1940 and again in 1945 (after restoration in 1942).

To find the cache just walk around 35 meters northwards along the trail.
