This cache is a picturesque spot at a trailhead along the Folsom Lake recreation area east of Brown's Ravine. Although you can access the cache within 300 feet of a street, the area is marked "No Parking. Tow Away Zone." The terrain rating reflects hiking along the trail, coming from east or west.
In January, 2006 I completed a series of hikes around the perimeter of Folsom Lake to find all of the caches there. This is the one section of the lake shoreline that had no caches. This well cammoed micro (you'll need to bring a writing instrument to sign the log) is meant to take you to a trailhead into the recreation area, plus enjoy some great views of the lake as you "Cache On!"
