Geocache Description:





Part of a series of caches placed for COG Spring Fling 2006!

The cache is located on one of the most beautiful sections of the Bruce Trail in the central part of Ontario. Hockley Valley is filled with rolling hills and deep forests so it makes a wonderful place to hide a cache.

Parking can be found at two different locations, choose the one that best suits your abilities.

Parking 1: N44 00.384 W80 03.557

This location can be found on Dunby Rd off of 3rd Line Mono. The GPS will measure about 1km to the cache. This is an easier walk in and the terrain varies nicely.

Parking 2: N43 58.277 W80 03.487

This location can be found on Hockley Rd at 2nd Line Mono. This hike is more challenging in terms of terrain and is also about 6km roundtrip. We thought we would add this location in as some cachers really like the longer hikes.

The Cache Container...

This is the most elaborate container we have made yet and it took some work. All we can say is that it is very well camoflaged and a good size.



The container is delicate and care should be taken when removing it from it's hiding spot and when handling it. It contains some quality items so trade evenly.
