Geocache Description:

You can park within a few feet of the cache. The cemetery is open all the time, and there's very little chance of getting spotted by muggles unless it's around Memorial Day!

The community of Moonlight was settled about 1/2 mile east of here in 1877. The town, first known as the Bethel Community, was settled by families from Pennsylvania. Its peak was from 1890 until World War I and consisted of several businesses, a town hall, a school, and this church and cemetery. The original church was built in 1887. The community dedicated the remodeled church in 1947. The steps which remain here are from the latter church which was razed in 1968. The smaller steps to the east were built to assist the women of the church into and out of their carriages. The cache is in a small, OD green de-con container, and includes the normal small caching goodies and the Training Coin TB! There is a geocaching window cling for the FTF! Enjoy!
