This cache is located within State Game Lands 44. Please follow all rules and regulations when visiting this cache. If you do not know the rules goto the website listed and read them first. When searching for the cache during any hunting season please wear the appropriate clothing. To be safe you should always wear a orange vest just in case. I promise the ammo can will not run off if it sees you.
I started this cache off with mainly childrens toys and a TB. The hike in from German Settlement takes about 30 minutes or so but the hike out may take longer. You have to drop down 3 different benches until you get to the bottom. There are some easy ways to get into this one if you look at a topo map but that would be cheating.
Once you get to the waterfall you will be looking for a slanted birch tree and the ammo can is hidden under its roots.
I have been told this site used to be an old sawmill from one of my neighbors.
Like my other caches my father (JayHawk1) will be doing any maintenence on this cache when I am not around.
