This cache was issued on the day that Weary Banker &
Bookworm tied the knot and was in celebration of the event.
Bookworm has decided against changing her caching name to Mrs Weary
Banker and will retain her present one
The larger than usual cache box filled with small bottles of
champagne, packs of pate de fois gras, wraps of smoked salmon,
chicken pieces smoked over oak chips, jars of quail eggs and some
quite sublime foreign cheeses was to help our Geocaching friends
share our big day.
There was neither food nor drink left in the cache when we
revisited today ( June 1st) and so we changed the box for our more
usual 5ltr Olive barrel with usual swaps. Please note this change
of box size, should you still wish to leave any amusing items as
belated Wedding Presents, although this is by no means obligatory.
Please leave a note in your log and we will visit to collect. As
before the rules are that it should not cost more than £2 and you
must not be upset if it turns up later in another cache !!
Many thanks for the amusing items so far. The 'L' plates will
certainly be useful, although perhaps not in the way intended and
the book The Calmer Sutra gave us both a giggle. I dont know who
put the 5 gold ingots into the box and although they appeared to
contravene our rule about cost, we were reassured by your comments
that they fell out of a Securicor van at your feet.
Although there are several other ways to get to this spot, if
you park at the suggested place, you will have a pleasant flat walk
to the cache, with wonderful views of the viaduct and also of Lyme
Regis and the Bay.
Tree cover may cause GPS problems and therefore the hint is
quite specific.
Even after a return trip I have still forgotten to leave the pen,
please make sure that you have one with you.
