No Redeeming Features Multi-Cache
H.F.Reign: well, time to put this one to rest. No-one has been out for almost a full year now (except for a hunter who stumbled across the final and left a farily depressing note. Making room for new caches.

5 stage multi in a wet bit of the local York Regional Forest. Stages are written on popsicle sticks placed in baggies then in film cannisters. Several of the stages have copper palnt tags hidden nearby to assist if you can't find the film can. Satellite reception is not great so look for more obvious locations between 2.5 and 5 feet above the ground and generally right alongside main trail.
Roadside parking is tricky but that's all there is. Mosquitoes, deerflies, horseflies, etc are plentiful in season. Ground is swampy pretty much any season so boots are helpful. Overall forest is lacking in points of interest. Trek is long and fairly tedious. GPS reception leaves a lot to be desired so there may be excessive searching going on. Once you get to the cache, the swag too is rather bland.
Trust us, we are not exaggerating with this description. When we originally went to scope out the area I walked out grumbling about what a waste it was as it had absolutely "no redeeming features!"
As the guy said "whose stupid idea was that?!"
Why would we do it? Why would you?
Oh, you will get a great view of the local opsrey, the trail does loop around, the terrain is quite flat and I won't take it personally if no-one wants to attempt it in mosquito season. But it is an ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS winter hike!
