This was originally "Water's Edge," which was placed by HexHatch in December 2003. In June 2004 it was sealed into place with cement, causing the unfortunate death of this fine cache.
Jump ahead to May 2006. A rookie geocacher stumbles upon the listing for the archived cache, and thinks "hey, there's no real reason I shouldn't be able to find that--maybe I'll be lucky." Irish blood prevailed on this one. Looked around for a short time, and spotted this cache. Time had loosened the concrete's grip on it, but rust had fused it shut. A little TLC, and a new container, and this cache is ready to roll again. The contents were largely destroyed, but I am including the stuff that survived, including the original HexHatch log book(in case he would like it back), and adding some fresh goodies of my own. I'm so excited to be bringing a cache back from the dead. I hope you all enjoy it, too.
