A nice little cache not far from the towpath of the Lehigh Canal by
lock 7. Parking coordinates can be found in the Additional
Waypoints section. We suggest a bike or good walking shoes for
enjoying a good walk on the canal.
A popular place on the canal for many reasons, you'll find this
cache hidden near an access road to the canal. Please use caution
while attempting this cache, lots of muggles may be curious. The
nearby bike trail is well maintained by local kids, enjoy it, but
do be careful. Just upstream a bit we stopped for a breath when
something in the water caught our eye. He's one big otter, but his
lady friend is very much on the smaller side. Stay still and quiet
a bit and maybe he'll pop up and say hi. This is one of 8 caches
placed along the upper portion of the Lehigh Canal designed to
bring you on a guided tour of one of our favorite areas. You can do
one, a few, or the entire tour, which is just about 8 miles round
trip. This cache is a small tupperware container with a logbook, a
pencil, and other standard items. BYOP just in case. Beware of
ticks, wasps, snakes, thorns, poison plants, and of course,
muggles. CITO whenever possible and please enjoy! ** mosquitoes and
tree cover may prove challenging! ** look for bits of coordinates
in side this cache, together the caches will reveal a complete set
of coordinates to the final bonus cache. Please be sure to rehide
well.
