FINALLY!! Our first cache hide! Enjoy!

15 July 06 - Voted "Best First Cache Hide" at the '06 Cache Splash Event.

Many cachers have stopped here while caching on Whidbey Island. You will have to go inside to find the coordinates for the final cache location.

Perhaps the following will help you on your hunt:

6 May 06 - Added the cache to Cache Splash.

8-2-2012 -- The responses to this cache have been overwhelmingly positive over the past 6 years. It has had 358 logs and only 10 DNF’s that were posted. (No doubt more DNF’s, but they hopefully came back and finished the fun!) You could count on one hand the logs of those who did not enjoy doing this cache from all of those logs. We think its popularity came from the inside game of hunting down of the actual coordinates, that let people of all ages and group sizes interact before getting the final coordinates. Our daughters idea was a huge success! The renovations to where this cache was, does not seem to allow for keeping the same exact cache. Archiving this cache will probably be our best choice. We worked up a new container idea, but the other day while there, it seemed the area where we would have put it would be too sensitive for the amount of cachers that have visited this cache in the past.
