Located in an old-growth grove of Eastern Hemlocks.
This large cache container is located in the Jefferson National Forest. You will turn off of highway 58 onto Forest Road 90 and then go a bit further on Forest Road 615. You can park at N36.39.993/W081.42.400. Then it's just a quick jump over the bank down into the old-growth Hemlock grove. Some of the trees could be 200 years old or more. These trees will soon be dead and gone because of the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid. A little fuzzy bug that eats tree sap. So enjoy while you still can!
