These are some of the nicest trails
around. Despite the sound of traffic nearby, this pine forest
feels quite secluded.
GPS reception is spotty at best. Please
feel free to post your coords. The hint should be a dead giveaway
should you have trouble getting a good lock.
Cache is a medium Lock & Lock with
the usual swag.
The only place to park, as far as I could
see, is on Whiskey Rd. about 200 feet west of Miller Place-Yaphank
Rd. If you try to access the cache from another location you will
most likely be trespassing. Parking and trailhead are at the coords
below.
