Geocache Description:

Come have a paddle-to BBQ in the Big Timber Creek! Biggest challenge for this cache is going to be finding a place to launch from--almost all the land along the banks of the Big Timber is private. However, I managed to find a small playground not far from this cache with a put-in behind it--can you?

Once you find a way into it though, the big timber creek is a really cool place to paddle. Crammed into the middle of suburbia, criscrossed by highways, and yet still a beautiful waterway with some great wildlife. I saw two herons and numerous song birds hanging out around ground zero. I only got to see a little bit of the big timber while hiding this cache, but i will definitely be returning there to paddle it more extensively...it leads all the way out to the Delaware! Depending on whether this one gets any interest, there may be more big timber creek caches in the future.
