A Geocaching
Look at Tuscaloosa
This is my
first puzzle cache! This cache will take you to a busy area
of downtown Tuscaloosa, but an area with many hidden facts.
America has fought many wars to win and defend our freedom, so this
cache will enlighten you with a little "close to home"
information. Just answer the questions below to figure out
the coordinates and enjoy some local history connected to some
worldly events.

- How many panes are in each window on floors
3-11?
- Count the number of Tuscaloosa
Countians who died during WWI and then add the number of
plaques on the same concrete wall. Then divide by
4.
- Looking down Greensboro towards the Bama
Theatre, turn to the right, find the number on the interstate
sign.
- Count the number of traffic lights
at the intersection of Greensboro and University then subtract
one.
- At the base of the flagpole is a plaque, take
the last two digits of the year and add two.
- Count the number of stories the
tallest building around you has and multiply it by three then
add one.
- Count the number of Tuscaloosa
Countians that died during WWII then subtract
90.
Put the
numbers you get from each symbol together to the coordinates.
Be careful of muggles! These coordinates will take you to the
cache. The coordinates will send you to an area where you
will have to make a split decision.
