Geocache Description:


The cache is located on the summit of Bear Mountain Peak, a short distance from Bear Mountain, in Henry Coe State Park. Bear Mountain itself is a long hike from everywhere, so look forward to a day of adventure. Most will approach from the north but it's possible to reach from the south as well. Both have trails (currently) named Bear Mountain Peak Trail on the map. . .and they aren't connected nor reach the peak. The geocache is also the summit register and has the original cache inside with logs back to 2006.

The cache was originally part of Popeye2's Terrain Challenge series.
