Enormous Elephant Cache Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Enormous Elephant Cache to find out about the status of this cache on April 27, 2007. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Boxford, Massachusetts off discontinued Barker Street. Start at North Andover Water Tower or Far Corners Golf Course.

What time is it when an elephant sits in your Cache? Time to visit that Cache. With my mammoth experience over the past two month’s geocaching, I thought it was my turn to give back. My geocaching partners seem to enjoy a nice walk in the woods with a mammoth hill thrown in for fun. When you find this two stage multi-cache you will experience the thrill of observing elephants in their unnatural habitat. This final cache is really as big as an elephant: It’s a fifty-eight quart container. But like all good elephants, it knows how to camouflage itself. The first stage is average size, but also camouflaged. Disclaimer: No animals were harmed in the making of this cache, and I hope you will not poach the pachyderms when you find it. Please leave the elephants and other glued items. There is a trading area: no ivory, please.

The walk is a mild grade hill on a discontinued dirt road. It seems equidistant from Far Corners Golf or the Water Tower in North Andover. You should not go near and will not need to go near the power lines. The difficulty is for the short but very steep hill to get to the first cache.
