This cache is designed for trading
geocoins, travel bugs and other semi-precious items, along
with run of the mill geocaching trinkets.
Feel free to take/exchange trackable
items, just make sure that there is at least one left in the cache
for the next cacher. That way, everyone can enjoy the cache. Also,
keep in mind that you can write down the tracking number on any
trackable item and log it as a “discovery” and get credit for it
without actually moving the trackable item to another
cache.
To find this
cache, we recommend that you park at the trail head at the
following coordinates: N 44 44.862 W 85 39.367. You can easily get
to the trail head by turning at the traffic light located at Silver
Lake Road and Copper Ridge. The trailhead is behind some office
bulldings and the cache is an easy short walk from there. You can
also hike up to the cache from the Traverse City State Hospital
grounds, but that would be more
difficult.
