Located at the new North Shore Boat Launch on the Escanaba River, this cache use to be an easy find but the vegetation and terrain have changed making it much more difficult!
The cache was placed within the fenced in area of the boat launch. This area is very popular for walleye and can be heavily populated with walleye fisherman during season. There is a $4 daily parking fee, but if you're quick enough and aren't planning on launching a boat, you may be able to get by without the fee. Bring your fish pole! Also, when we replaced this cache, the grass was extremely tall, sharp, and tick infested! Poison Ivy was also spotted. We are working on making a new cache for this location within the launch area with a much easier/better location. We just wanted to get this back up and running for the time being.
