Geocache Description:

The cache has been replaced in a new location due to the right of way construction. We have no problem with original finders getting a new smiley.

This is a standard ammo box. It is hid on the old Adairsville to Fairmount Highway. When Dooley was just a young clown he spent many a cold night either starting or ending a coon hunt with his dad in this area. Just east of the bridge there was once a hotel and stage stop. Now there is no sign of it. Dooley remembers seeing the footings for the hotel on the south side of the road. The road was the main route between Adairsville and Fairmount. Until just the past few years the road remained dirt. The old bridge sadley had to be replaced. However, it was replaced with a new one lane steel bridge. It looks like it belongs here.
