25km south of Te Aroha via Whitaker St, Old Te Aroha Rd then Goodwin Rd.
Parking is available, but PLEASE LOCK YOUR CAR.
Take the 'Wairere Falls Lookout' track. The track is a steady climb with a series of steep steps, but handrails are provided.
You will pass through a grove of Nikau, Puriri and Kohekohe
before reaching the Lookout. Track slippery when wet.
Round trip approx. 1 1/2 hrs.
Enjoy the view.
Cache is a clear plastic container with a green screw-top
lid.
Cache contains Log Book, pencil and sharpener, and the usual assortment of goodies.
