corixid: This early Corixid cache was turned over to a local geocaching when I moved out of the area.
It was fun for me over the years to keep this going but, I must archive it now.
Thanks go out to all of the geocachers who signed the log sheet.

Geocache Description:

Don’t always believe what you read…. For nearly 60 years this historical info was accurate, but in the early 1960’s a speeding, southbound motorist nudged this landmark nearly 4 inches ( my recollection ) and lost his life. The late night ‘speeder’ failed to make the ever so slight curve to the west……. and the outcome of his due south line of travel ? A more safe approach for those entering Tecumseh from the North. This hazard was moved about 65 yards north and east, to it’s present location.
