Geocache Description:

The White River State Recreation Trail runs from Elkhorn to the outskirts of Burlington, about 12 miles. The trail can be accessed at several points, but the closest parking to the cache is at N42 39.104 W088 21.470 and is within walking distance. The cache is a camo-wrapped container with a log, pencil, and some small trade items. Be sure to follow all trail rules. State trail passes (available in the little grocery store across from the parking) are required if you are biking, but hikers do not need one. The cache is hidden less than 20' from the trail, so there is no need to wander onto the private lands which are on both sides. The trail is open from 6 A.M. until 10 P.M. each day. You may encounter muggles, although the trail is not usually crowded. Have stealth techniques handy, just in case. (Winter note: cache is not winter-friendly.)
