Geocache Description:

The coordinates above are for the parking. Additional coordinates for the 3 waypoints are below This is a four stage multi-cache in a small Snohomish County Park. There is no bushwacking required. There is no need to enter any of the fenced off wetlands. It is very popular in the summer and warm days so extreme stealth will be required.

Martha Lake Park opens at 7:00 AM, but they let the fisherman park outside the gate and hop over it much earlier. The lake is a very popular fishing spot and you can always see a fisherman or two on the lake during fishing season. The multicache takes you to all the docks in the park to find the clues. Bring your fishing gear.

Park History
Before Martha Lake Park was developed, it was known as "Martha Lake Resort," which offered the only beach access to the lake. The previous owners of the property hoped to develop condominiums or a business park on the property. Community groups organized and requested that the property be developed into a regional park. After the owner's development plans proved to be infeasible by the county, the wishes of the community groups were realized and the parks and recreation department began the process for park acquisition and development. The project was strongly supported by the Martha Lake Community Club and local lake residents.
