Geocache Description:

This micro cache is located off the 2A at the southern outskirts of Ponoka.

Cache contains a logbook and a pencil.

This site is close to where Fort Ostell was once located. Fort Ostell was one of three forts created as a link between Fort Calgary and Fort Edmonton during the Louis Riel Rebellion. The two other forts in the link were located in Red Deer and Wetaskiwin. You can learn more by visiting the Fort Ostell Museum located in Centennial Park in Ponoka.
