Geocache Description:

Good Parking with a well defined path. Boots are always a good idea in this area.

Ardnadams Ancient History is a good stretch of the leg, some up and down but not to strenous, the cache is off the trail so you will be walking through some bracken.
As for the cache it is near the site of a area that has been in use for at least 5000 years and the ground has been excavated and is marked out with information panels to explain. There is also a near by burn for the dogs to cool off in or the kids to paddle as they were today.

For the more agile and brave you can continue up to the top of the Camels Hump (Dunan) a good walk and great view.

As for ferry tickets if you purchase your Western Ferry tickets in shops in Dunoon you save 50% on the price charged on the boat.
