The cache site is located in beautiful Beaver Lake Park in
Sammamish, Washington. The cache is just off the trail after a
pleasant walk along a path that varies between bark, packed dirt,
and gravel. The path is suitable for children. If you find yourself
wanting to bushwhack, you're on the wrong trail. The site can be
somewhat busy, so use caution.
The cache is a small lock-n-lock. GPS reception can be weak, which
is reflected in the higher difficulty rating.
About Beaver Lake Park
Transferred to the city of Sammamish on January 1, 2003, Beaver
Lake Park offers opportunities for recreation, hiking, and
exploring its 54 forested acres. In addition, Beaver Lake is an
attractive fishing spot. Facilities include a large pavilion and
lodge with ADA accessible public restrooms on the north side; and
three ball fields, a picnic shelter, play structure, and restrooms
on the south side. Unpaved hiking paths connect the north and south
sides of the park.
