This cache is located at the top of Pilot's Knob, a 1300 foot summit near Trussville, AL.
Pilot's Knob was named for for the airplane pilot's beacon located atop a tower at the top. The beacon is still there clustered among radio and communication towers fenced in and surrounded by ominous signs warning of unsafe radiation levels beyond the fence.
Please let me know if you find yourself glowing in the dark after caching here and I will move the cache farther away.
Please note, trade items left in this ammo box may also begin to take on luminescent qualities as well.
In fact, glow-in-the-dark swag is a good idea to bring for trading.
