The original Quacker’s Quest was hidden in this park on January 1 2003. It was my first hide and placed one week after I started caching. I removed it from its location due to a trail that had been worn approaching the cache and lots of poison ivy on the way to it. I intended to change containers and relocate it in the same park, but after doing so, I decided just to make it a new cache so that previous finders would be able to hunt one more.
The cache has switched from an ammo box to a smaller plastic Loc & Loc container. It’s in a slightly more difficult area due to briars and yes, even poison ivy. The best way to approach this cache might not be in a straight line. Also, please be aware of some old barbed wire fencing near the cache site – just watch your step.
