Geocache Description:

Most of the walk is along a firm, well surfaced bridleway. It can get wet in winter

Park at the carpark by Parchey Bridge, leaving the carpark turn right over the bridge. Walk along the lane for less than 0.5Km and turn left along the well marked track on the left. This is a bridleway so you can walk or ride a bike to the cache. You could actually drive your car up here and stop just a few metres from the cache but then you'd miss out on a nice walk. Your search really begins after about 1km when the track reaches a T junction.

The church in the distance is Westonzoyland and the Battle of Sedgemoor was fought in the fields between this cache and Westonzoyland. A good circular walk can take you across to Westonzoyland where a memorial marks the battle site. Take the path which passes the old airfield and leads to King's Sedgemoor Drain from where you can walk along the waterway back to your car.
