Die 30km lange Passstrasse über den Glaubenberg
steigt um 1070m auf 1543 m ü.M hinauf. Du wirst mit einer schönen
zügigen Kurvenfahrt belohnt, die wegen ihrer eher schmalen Anlage
jedoch weites Vorausschauen verlangt. Die Aussicht an verschiedenen
Stellen ist grandios. An schönen Wochenenden kriegst du als
Motorradfahrer den Arm kaum mehr runter...
Ach ja, die obersten 200 Meter und der dortige Parkplatz sind
nicht asphaltiert. Trotzdem solltest du nicht vorbei fahren
;-)
8-ung! Im Sommer lassen sich gerne Rinder auf der Strasse
nieder oder stehen einfach nur so umher!
Die schön asphaltierte Strasse weist viele Gitterroste (Kuhroste)
auf.
Glaubenberg pass connects Sarnen and Kerns which are about 30km
appart. The road climbs smoothly 1070m higher and higher. The pass
itself is at an altitude of 1543m. It's a pretty good road with
beautiful turning bends. If it invites you to drive fast watch
carefully in distance because some parts are quiet narrow.
Not to forget: The final 200 m on the pass are dirt road. As well
is the parking area. But anyway, you shouldn't just pass by...
;-)
Attention! In the summertime there are likely cows laying
on the road or just standing round there.
There are many "cow grides" in/on the road which might be
slippery
