Placed in surrounding park, outside of Steilacoom's new off-leash dog park.
These are not the exact coordinates of the cache. They are merely the starting point. They will bring you to a crossroads along east/west running power lines. These crossroads are not actually roads but dirt trails. On one corner of the crossroads is a very young spruce tree. In the spring it is surrounded by beautiful yellow blossomed bushes. It is the only one in the immediate area. From the crossroads face 149 degrees and walk for 30 paces. Then face 66 degrees and walk for 41 paces. You will find Miss Matilda's Hope Chest in the shade. Matilda's mom says watch out for the huge ants!
Original contents are: purple dog leash, bone dog collar, brown dog figurine, silver dog pin, dog printed washcloths, dog gift wrap, baseball glove squeaky toy.
