Turn right two and a half kilometres past Wycliffe Regional Park making for Perry Creek then park just before the cattle guard which is a further two kilometres. Several paths meander their way upwards but the more adventurous can "tak' the high road".
Visit the site where Rabbie, the Haggis poet laureate, (not to be confused with the Canadian look-alike Robbie) took his "mum" for a picnic on Mother's Day. What better place than Mother's Day Hill also called Sunflower Hill? Elusive views of the Purcells, the Steeples and the Rockies make this hike worth the effort. Look for the usual Haggis memorabilia.
