in our disclaimer.
The “SH” in the cache name above signifies a Spirit Hunt, a project by the Miami Valley Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This cache is part of that series created by MVG members to highlight cemeteries in the area. Please be respectful of the area, and please visit the cemetery only during daylight hours. It is not necessary to walk over any gravesites to get to the cache.
This micro, located in Cedarville's North Cemetery, was placed to honor Bumpus Jones, a notable Cedarville citizen most people have probably never heard of. He pitched a no-hitter for the Cincinnati Reds (then the Red Stockings) in 1892 on the last day of the season. His humble gravesite is located here in North Cemetery. After you find the cache, please take a moment to visit his gravesite at the following coordinates:
N 39 45.277
W 083 48.730

Good luck, and enjoy learning a little about our local history!
NOTE: There's no need to remove the cache container from its position; you should be able to simply remove the log carefully and then place it back into the container without ever removing the container from its spot.
