Geocache Description:


The story goes that there was a homeowner in Cheektowaga (Ja ik do wah gah) who liked to collect “junk” and add additions to his home in an unconventional manner. After several legal attempts to get the homeowner to clean up his act, the town and fire department finally secured his land through eminent domain. His property was demolished and a parking lot for the 82-year-old U-Crest Volunteer Fire Department now occupies the spot.

If you hear the fire whistle, stay clear of the fire trucks!!
