Geocache Description:

Everybody’s favorite knot.

Here’s a reminder: (visit link) (We like to use a golf ball as the core.) And here's a great animation of it courtesy of John, of John&Jess: (visit link)

This has absolutely the best view of the severe “V” of the Los Monos Canyon (you, of course, know what that means by now) to the southwest. Could be an easier find if you work for the Vista Irrigation District (VID).

The cache is a small, round, flattish, camouflaged plastic container with room for very small items.

Stay to the west when approaching, adjacent to the houses or water tank and skirting the backyards of the nearby houses (some don’t have fences). Don’t go down into the Green Oak Ranch.

Remember Geocache Etiquette
1. Don’t leave blank space in the logbook. Use all available white space, including the back of each page. Use a line to separate your entry from the one above it.
2. Reseal the container tightly to keep out moisture.
3. Rehide carefully.
