The Cache is located on public footpaths in fields with easy terrain, just to the north of the market town of St.Ives.
Ample parking is available at N 52.20.662 W 000.04.441. From here you will need to cross the road to start your walk, but please be careful as the road can be rather busy.
This is our first attempt at hiding a Cache and as we've had so much fun finding other people's caches we thought we should start contributing some of our own. Hope you enjoy it.
There is no real history as far as we are aware but this is a pleasant walk of approximately 1.5 miles each way and is enjoyed by many dog walkers ourselves included. There is however plenty of wildlife about, including rabbits, birds of all kinds, the odd fox and if you are really lucky a buzzard or two.
The Cache is a one litre click lock container in a black plastic bag. The original contents on hiding were , Logbook and pen,pin cushion, some room scent oils, some ear plugs, a small picture frame, a help the children pin badge, some small highlighters, fridge magnets, key clips and lock a key fob and two necklaces.
Whilst on your way you will come across many informative signs describing how the nature of work carried out around this area is interacting with the environment.
