The cache is located just off of what was the lead up to the Mountain Monastery. If you've seen the film, you could imagine that Lychen were guarding the cache before they attacked Michael.
In the winter of 2005, we filmed Underworld:Evolution with Kate Beckinsale in and around Vancouver. This cache is the first of a series from the film's locations.
This cache is set at the Ext. Mountain Monastery where Seline had banished another vampire. As Seline enters through the gates, Michael drives behind her in their stolen Land Rover.....this set piece was built into the face of the quary / cliff (I will try to find a conceptual drawing for this to add later).
You can find parking close-by by following the road towards the power station. Park off the shoulder of the road where possible. The search begins at Gate 9 to Belcarra Regional Park.
The cache is hidden amongst the living. For a great view, follow the path leading to the top of the quary. Be careful as it gets pretty high...don't approach the edge without caution.
The cache is a water-tight container holding a logbook, and a few little extras.
