This is a steep relentless trail, with little cover from the sun. It is about 7 miles round trip, and you will go from 285ft to 2448ft in about 3.5 miles. When I placed this cache it was 90 degrees on the hill and 78 degrees below. It takes me less then an hour to get from the parking lot to the top, the novice usually takes about 2 1/2 hours. So please come prepared.
This Cache contains some mole skin, water, electrolyte packs, log book, spritzer bottles, etc... It is about 25 ft south west from the summit, on the ocean side. It is covered by some small bushes, and a little dirt.
IT will require a $2.00 parking fee at the start of the trail.
PLEASE leave the water, and the mole skin to those who need it. If you do take it, please e-mail me so I can replace it for those little emergencies.
If you can get it, then you really accomplished something.
