The Rugenstein’s 2nd Annual-Geocache Pot-luck Picnic will be Sunday July 16, 2006.
Picnic begins at 11AM
Rugenstein & Doo-zer will provide the “meat” for the pot-luck picnic. Please bring a dish to pass and something to drink. Bring a utensil for serving what you bring. Bring lawn chairs. We also have a permit from the City of Troy,NY that permits wine and beer - bring your own, be responsible. All state and federal laws will be applicable.
We have a Geochaching road rally planned. It won't take long to complete. It can be started by anyone at anytime during the picnic. People can compete as individuals or teams but each entrant (team or individual) needs a vehicle because your mileage will be part of the game. The winner is based on time and mileage being as close to 'perfect' as possible. A prize will be awarded.
There will also be a "Shutterspot” game with a prize.
The area is family friendly with playgrounds, trails, a sprinkler thing for kids to run under and even tennis courts. Additionally, there are 8 caches within 1.8 miles of this event cache.
